We just returned from a weekend get-away down south! We visited with Tate & Jody in San Diego - something we don't do enough! It was so relaxing - a real vacation. We enjoyed Mimi's Cafe (courtesy of Jody's work) and fun card games Friday night.
Then Saturday Jody treated us to a day at Sea World. What a beautiful park! We had fun feeding the little fish to the sea lions and dolphins! That was really neat. As you might expect, we were very impressed by Shamu...the whole show was so amazing and really very touching! (I felt really silly getting teary-eyed watching a whale jump.) Thank you, Jody, for a really special day!
The wedding we attended Saturday night was beautiful - a wonderful mixture of elegance and fun! With about 200 other guests, we helped Maxine & Alan celebrate the end of a 24 year courtship! John enjoyed reconnecting with some former co-workers from LA County (where Max still works). We had a great time.
